Well, I certainly don't hate 80's Dead as much as Cliff (who does?), but I do agree the era can't carry the jock straps of the 70's (Cliff would say late 60's, but why quibble?)

Still: There are moments, and when you're talking about the creme de la creme of SECOND SET 80's, it starts and ends with this one:

Greatest 2nd set of the decade, and not just for the novelty of the hilarious RAVENSPACE. This has my favorite STELLA BLUE of the decade, as well as a killer WHEEL and so much more.

Go figure – I picked up this tour in Philly and then had to head back north after eight shows and missed Hartford and Baltimore. Surely a fine end to this spring tour. Thanks for bringing me there today, and giving me the bright idea to find and listen to other shows I missed due to similar circumstances.
